Cremation Property

Throughout the state, cremation continues to grow in popularity as both an affordable and meaningful way to conclude life. This is why we offer the widest possible selection of places of honor for those who choose cremation that will be here for generations to come.

These include our beautiful new Heritage Pavilion in our eastside section. Under its California Craftsman-inspired gabled roof are an abundance of elegant cremation niches enclosed within stately granite columns.

Also on the eastside, not far from the Heritage Pavilion, is the Garden of Roses. Within its boundaries are unique environmentally-friendly "scattering gardens" that bring cremated remains into direct contact with the earth, without urn or marker.

In our northern section, the 1930s-built Sunrise Mausoleum reflects the grace and elegance of another era. Outside, it captures the character of Old California. Indoors, several chambers feature numerous marble-front enclosures designed especially for cremation urns.

Throughout our memorial park, decorative granite benches and green lawn spaces provide more options for those who choose cremation.

Whether a family's priorities are environmental, creative, cultural or economic, Historic Union Cemetery is committed to serving all needs with the utmost in quality care. We invite you to speak with one of our family service counselors today to explore your memorialization options.
